Carvaan Resort Desert Camp is one of the best desert experiences in Rajasthan. The management and hospitality are excellent, especially Mr. Manzoor Ali, who is very helpful, polite, and ensures every guest is comfortable. The Rajasthani cultural program, folk dance, and live music are the highlights of the evening. The performers are talented, and the atmosphere feels authentic and enjoyable. The resort staff and service response are very quick — whether it's food, room needs, or any assistance, everything is handled smoothly. The tents are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with good food and a warm, friendly environment. I had a really wonderful experience at this place overall and would happily come back again! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel very welcome. Everyone we interacted with — whether it was the person at the entrance, our server, or even the kitchen staff we briefly saw — was genuinely friendly, polite, and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant was impressively clean and well-maintained and the food tasted good. Service was prompt, the ambiance was comfortable and relaxing, the music volume was just right, and the overall vibe felt warm and inviting. We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Caravan Resort in Jaisalmer, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience for my family, thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by Mr. Ramzan. His attentive care and warm hosting made our stay truly enjoyable. Thanks Ramzan bhai for the special dinner arranged for us. In addition to the remarkable service, the accommodation at the Caravan Resort exceeded our expectations, particularly the luxury tent provided. The attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay was evident, with amenities like a blower, heater, and hot water facilities. This place is extremely nice location and aesthetic wise. One thing I'd like to point out is their service. I'll give one instance - we had 7 rooms (tents) here and the weather was hot here in the afternoon. Right from carrying our bags in the room, to giving us a grand welcome, to placing an extra cooler in all 7 rooms, providing extra toiletries in all the rooms, arranging for our safari rides, to arrange a grand culture show and folk dances, Mr. Ramzan and Mr. Manzur Ali with his team took care all of our needs whenever we asked for it. Not a single time they said that we cannot arrange this xyz thing. I really have no complaints with their service. I don't think that you will get this kind of personalized service in any 4 star or 5 star resort. These guys took care of us like their own house guest. ਰਮਜਾਨ ਭਾਈ ਤੇ ਮਨਜੂਰ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਟਾਫ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਮਾਲ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨਿਵਾਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਸਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀ ਛੱਡਦੇ।ਰਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਰੂਮ ਤੇ ਸਾਫ ਸਫਾਈ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਕਹਿਣੇ ਤੋ ਪਰੇ ਨੇ,ਬਹੁਤ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਰੇਤੇ ਦਾ ਕਿਣਕਾ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿੰਦੇ। ਖਾਣਾ ਵੀ ਘਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਲਾ-ਜਵਾਬ ….ਜਦੋ ਕਦੇ ਇੱਧਰ ਆਉ ਤਾਂ ਜਰੂਰ ਰੁਕਣਾ। ~ sukhjinder a

Our stay at Carvaan Camp was truly incredible and offered a unique experience. The services provided by Mukhtiyar Khan were exceptional—he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. Mansoor Ali’s outstanding customer service made the check-in and check-out process seamless and stress-free. The evening event, expertly overseen by Shakur Ali, was a amazing ; he ensured we had an unforgettable time with excellent service. Additionally, property manager Ramdan’s kindness and efficient management added a personal touch, making everything run perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! ~ Preeti C

1. The local folk program was below average, dancers were very poor performers. 2. Our driver suffer a lot they did not provide good staying place to them and was given cold food. 3. The way they will express jeep package in sand dues will include sight seeing of movie shooting , make a visit to last village but nothing happen like that the jeeps driver just show us from far that is the last village. 4. Please don’t go by the album they will show it will be nothing like that 5. The reception person just wanted us to right good reviews in front of him before leaving the place. Traveled with a group of friends and stayed in Swiss luxury tents which was perfect. Hospitality by property staff is top notch. You can call them anytime and they won't say no! On our first day we reached jaisalmer very early morning from where Jusab from carvaan resort picked us up and dropped at a temp stay for couple of hours , he then took us to the jaisalmer fort and then to the airport to pick another friend, had lunch and left for the resort. After reaching the resort we went for some fun activities like paradailing, quad biking, thar safari and camel riding which we booked at the resort itself. It was worth every penny. The next day we went to see tarot mata ji temple, indo pak border and longewala and put an end to our second day. On our last day after checkout we went to see khaba fort, kuldhara village, jaisalmer fort and gadisar lake with Jusab. Thanks all for the excellent hospitality. ~ sidhant j

We recently visited carvaan and spent a wonderful time in the mid of desert. The rooms are clean and spacious. Their hospitality is 10/10. All the staffs are helpful and very welcoming and specially thanks to Mansur and Ayat. The safari experience was worthy but they need to make little improvements in their night safari. They can include a pair of Rajasthani folk singer and dancer in night safari. Otherwise all the services are 10/10. We booked the resort online from makemytrip but I suggest you to book it directly as that will be little cheaper. ~ Bornali H

Camps are very nice and as shown in the pics. Neat and clean, comfortable room, neat washroom with hot water facility. Evening cultural program was mediocre. I've seen far superior Rajasthani dances, they're really of a different level. However, They encourage guests also to take part in the program, which makes it enjoyable. Food was simple and good to eat. Dinner had rajasthan fare, breakfast was poha and poori, very tasty. Overall very nice stay and good hosts. Some negatives:They promised camel ride in the package, however, after arriving, we were told, it comes at extra charge, as it will be in dunes , proper desert. These things they should be upfront about. They will also be after us to post 5 stars and literally do it themselves too. They should refrain from such practices, it creates a bad impression. We would give a good review without these. I have given 5 stars because the stay, food and other aspects were good and they should keep the standards up. ~ indira s

Muktar and Wasim and everyone at the resort were very helpful. Wonderful Stay with thoughtful assistance . We had a great experience at the resort. The staff was incredibly helpful and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout our stay—especially important since we were an all-female group. The environment was welcoming, and the service exceeded our expectations. One small suggestion: it would be great if electric kettles were provided in the rooms for added convenience. Good service by manjur ali.but all rooms are the same only chair and tables are not included in the normal rooms and heater. They give heater for babies but only luxury rooms. All snacks like Manchurian paneer chilli's price is too high they are more than 400 rs. All camps give dessert safari at room price but they are extra 2500rs charge for camel and Jeep safari and Waha jane k bad wo log extra kharcha apni magte hai jo camel and bike k liye Khana average the ~ Richa S

It was my 3rd visit in jaislamer.but i strongly recommends this resort for satying hear.. Service and co-operation of staff was excellent.. I would recommend the desert package from here because my jeep saffari experience was unforgettable..and was ontime even on full rush on weekend. And most Important about food.. Had a great time at this very beautiful resort. Hospitality by everyone in staff is 100 percent. Rooms were clean, bathroom was clean and big , hot water was readily available and then the evening cultural program is worth experiencing once in lifetime. Then visit to longewala and tanot mataji temple will not let you leave without goosebumps. Situated at a very convenient and calm location. The rooms are very spacious and overall atmosphere was very welcoming. The hospitality was fantastic and special mention to Manjur Ali who was always available (at any time required) and made my stay great. Be it room service or food, he was always there to help which made my stay pleasing. I would recommend Carvaan resort for their rooms and most importantly their hospitality. Incredible experience... Their service is beyond expectations. Rooms were so clean. Food was awesome they serve variety of food... they also provide room service for tea anytime and it's free ...we came from Punjab and had to leave early morning , Mansoor made us feel more special by Offering us breakfast in early morning.
